So here’s the deal – I will shave off all the hair on my head, completely bald, if I can raise HK$100,000 for our church’s building project.  Shaving my head might not sound like a big deal to you, but consider the following:

1. I have had hair all my life.
2. I love hair.  Hair is important to me.
3. Every week I have to stand in front of close to 1000 people, so doing so bald would be somewhat concerning, for me and for them
4. My hair may not grow back. Sometimes it doesn’t when people shave their heads. It’s been documented.

The money I will be raise will all go to meeting the construction costs of our new facility in Wan Chai. The total amount needed is currently at HK$24 million, and while my HK$100,000 target may seem small in comparison, every little bit helps!

What happens if I don’t reach HK$100k?  If I raise a considerable amount of money but do not get close to the HK$100k target, I will not shave my hair off (sorry). But I will post up on the community page three other suggestions I will commit to and have all those who have donated vote on their favorite. The winning suggestion will then be carried out, whatever that may be. I promise it will provide a suitable level of embarrassment and discomfort for me, relevant to the amount of money raised.
